TFP Season 3 question
We all remember what happened in Season 3, when Prime was about to give the Matrix of Leadership to Smokescreen and he refused it and used Forge of Solus Prime to fix Optimus Prime instead. Now the question remains, what if Smokescreen accepted the Matrix of Leadership and named the new leader, would season 3 took a different direction? And how would it led to Predacons Rising and the events in Predacons Risins? Any thoughts?

Re: TFP Season 3 question
And how did he use the forge in the first place since he wasn't a Prime?
Gah!! It's just a cartoon....
In all seriousness, he would have gotten them all killed.

Re: TFP Season 3 question
It would have been an Ultra Magnus scenario all over again...

Re: TFP Season 3 question
I'm really curious why they didn't make him Hot Rod instead of Smokescreen... he could have been ORANGE!
But I guess they prefered Bumblebimus Prime instead.
What kind of Prime name would Smokescreen have gotten? Also the season would probably have been mostly dedicated to Smokescreen Prime feeling inadequate and butting head with Magnus over something or other...

Re: TFP Season 3 question
IF he had of gotten the matrix I'm sure they would have kept it simple and called him something like Smokescreen Prime or Prime Smoke.

Re: TFP Season 3 question
Y'all are forgetting that it's he Matrix that chooses the next host. Just cuz OP thought Smokescreen was a valid candidate, doesn't mean the Matrix would have chosen him.

Re: TFP Season 3 question
Good point^^ I guess thats why Ultra Magnus did not morph into a super huge robot once he placed the matrix into his chest, while Hotrod had a total body transformation.

Re: TFP Season 3 question
Sadly, Magnus was just a placeholder, thus did not have body mods that would have made him Ultra Ultra Magnus!

Neither Smokescreen nor Ultra Magnus used the Forge in the show in the sense of activating it like a Prime can. Anyone can pick it up and carry it. Anyone can bash things up with it like a regular old hammer.
All Smokescreen did was put it in Optimus' hand. Optimus was still the bearer of the Matrix, therefore it activated.
