Hasbro them selves are cutting prices, so look for price drops everywhere

Re: Wal-Mart to cut prices on toys?

I was at a walmart in fargo, and they had TF listed for 7.77 reg price (just any TF Deluxe fig). I wish I could have gone crazy on that, but I could only find an Acid Storm I needed

I'll add that our economy is not "more stable" than that of the US, but lagging behind them, time wise. It has always lagged.

From someone in the financial industry I have to disagree with this. Our media is perpetuating this view and it just doesn't reflect our economic situation; instead they present only select information to create "extreme headlines" that get people's attention.

There's quite a bit of good news out there but you rarely hear about it. We are not going to be untouched, and some industries will suffer more than others, but we are not in the same shape as the states. Oh, and lastly, there are significant differences in the US and Canadian financial systems.

Sorry, but I don't want people to believe the misinformation/incomplete information that the media feeds the public.

I agree, we have a fundamentally different economic and financial structure in this country. Of course we're going to suffer because our largest trading partner is being hit hard. But it shouldn't be as bad up here.

I'm sure they will they will find some way to weasel out of it.

Simular to the when Walmart was selling book and cards at the US price. All great until the next shipment only had the Canadian price listed.

Same thing at the LA WMs I visited. Target actually increased most of their prices by a dollar ($10.99 USD for deluxes, $26.99 USD for Ultras, etc.)

Maybe if people in the US Government watched this informative video they could have learned a thing or two about money and inflation

Scrooge McDuck should be head of Treasury
