So I canceled the order myself because I switched my pre-order to Gamestop, but what does this mean? Just a delay or something else?

Me too. I forgot that I ordered him from both Amazon and Toy Snowman. Toy Snowman for the win!

If they have all those pesky pre-orders sitting around they can't collect the new increased prices for them.

Perhaps they are cancelling because they are not in stock yet, but they will get them in stock after the general price hike.
