Well on the plus side, we don't have to be dissapointed by photoshop making the paintjob look better, we know it's not real AND we won't be subjected to the photographers' poor transformation skills

Dang it! They look awesome! I don't know if I'll pick up Skylinx but the limbs will look sweet with CW Optimus.

SkyLyne is a voyager torso it won't work as Blast Off. But I betcha Takara will do a space shuttle Blast Off arm in the most G1 accurate colour.
Takara is just totally pwning Hasbro in this combiner wars.

I was expecting they release the team of pretender stunticons from that one episode where the autobots captured the stunticons and pretended to be them. But instead, we're getting two autobot teams like that with more season 1 characters. So I guess it doesn't matter which limbs go with which torso, and I think that's what Hasbro is going for.
Also, the white optimus torso is redundant to the red one that I already bought.

The closer to release official images were not CGI
Skylynx and his cohorts are probably a long time off and they might have just thrown together some renders to use as official images
Maybe they have been for years and they forgot to add a filter, heh
