Limit’s set to 5, as TRU usually does. Definitely too many to allow most people to have a chance. But there are people (here) who legit either collect multiples and/or grab extras for peeps. A shame scalpers have to ruin it for everyone.

Personally, the combination of order cancellations + playing the QC lottery makes ordering multiples a must these days. *And sometimes to get free shipping
Friday: I ordered 3, 1 cancelled. At this point didn’t know if this was going to be Thor or not.
Saturday: ordered 1 with BW Megs. Got Megs, Runabout cancelled
Sunday: ordered 3 Runabouts, all 3 cancelled
Then of the 2 I got, 1 has two left thighs and won’t properly transform into car mode (so getting returned).

When all was said and done: I ordered 7, ended up with just 1(!) proper fig

Tru inventory system is not accurate, surprise. Went to Hilda TRU looking for runabout but they said no stock but Vaughan Mills has stock. Called Vaughan Mills and gave them skn number. After being on hold forever, they said sorry nothing in stock. Now I ordered online from newmarket toys r us because the website says in stock. Waiting for the email to tell me that was false too.

I'm surprised, my online order for curb side pick up at Decarie Toysrus actually went through and it says my runabout is waiting for me now.

I knew my local store was getting their new shipment in today. So I called. And same story as you, made me hold for a while only to tell me they had nothing I was looking for. So I went anyway and it turns out all 3 new exclusives were there.

Afterlife Ectotron I think is the third TRU Exclusive to be released lately.

So I got the cancellation email for my runabout from tru newmarket just as I figured, yet their website still shows it as in stock at that location. Total BS. Wait, lol, just went out of stock as I typed this.
