Another chunk of the paycheck went to TRU today. Picked up Leader Ironhide. No Rodimuses at my location, but after grabbing an Ultimate Prime and now a Leader Ironhide, I think I've done my part to support my TRU Express... for this week at least.

I got a poster yesterday, but I never got one in June. The consolation is that the two-part side looks pretty ugly. I don't think I'd display it even if I did have both halves.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that TRU Kitchener rocks. In the past, I've often given TRU a hard time with its exclusives.

But this was the way to do it. MP Rodimus in big enough quantity to make scalping too impractical. You didn't have to luck into it -- it was there for a day. Well, okay, that's still a small window, but it's better than it's been with other things.

I'm hoping this is the way it will go more often. It was a big relief to get MP Roddy without endless fruitless trips.

And more money to TRU. Just when I thought my local store wouldn't get MP Rodimus, they did. Thanks to Thorlord77 and some awesome store employees, I grabbed one just before the sale ended. Two more still at TRU Express in Midland, Ontario if anyone feels like hiking way the hell out to Cottage Country for one.
