I beleive the technical term is 'Arrested Development'

But what it really boils down to is, the world is so fucked right now that we all long for a time when things didn't seem so bleak

For a lot of us from the 80s that means surrounding ourselves with toys

For those older than us, it means classic cars and other anachronisms
