Re: Buying etiquette 101
Addition to your excellent list:
- Don't reach an agreed price over email/phone and then when you show up say "oh, I only brought $(less than agreed price) with me...".

Re: Buying etiquette 101
^That's how it was done in the late 90s! I remember selling tons of cds through Ebay and getting cash payments in US dollars.

YES!!! I can't believe I forgot that. Happened to me once and I replied with "Well I guess you won't be leaving here with my toys then" insert awkward pause... then he FINDS the extra $10 in his back pocket, pays and leaves quickly.... WTF?!?!?

Re: Buying etiquette 101
Just remembered another one:
BRING EXACT CHANGE!
So many times people have showed up with only 20's and are $5-$10 over our price then act all shocked that I can't give them change, and some expect me to round down to their lowest $20 multiple!!! In each case the person left my house to go get change down the road then came back.
I should put a sign on my door that says " Sorry, no cash on premises"

Re: Buying etiquette 101
^I've never had that happen to me...yet. I hope it never does.
One thing that always bothers me is people who disappear when something's out of their price range. Like, if it's too much for you at least have the decency to tell me straight up that you're out of the deal. I've kind of gotten used to it but it would be nice to let a seller know.

Sometimes I would get money orders, but people just preferred sending cash. Never lost a payment in the mail!
