Re: Hasbro MP-10 Optimus Prime
The cost there asking for the current hasbro version (reissue as well ) your better off going with takara mp 10 version 2 same price or a few pennys more but well worth it in both packageing and the fact they corrected early release faults (fingers head etc problems)pluse better paint apps and more accurat color, silver roller to boot they didn't cheap out like hasbro did.

I really wish they gave him the light blue eyes. What was the issue with the head?

Re: Hasbro MP-10 Optimus Prime
Here's the colour difference. Good luck in your search, Canbot. Whichever one you get, just get one! I'll keep an eye out for you. I recently acquired two from the this board, so they are out there.

stop trashing hasbros mp10.. first thing g1 toy roller is Blue...... and prime has a much better lighter blue to him... in the end your right you must have one or the other but Hasbro Mp10 will be worth twice as much down the road as most will never own him.... hehehehe thank god I do..

Re: Hasbro MP-10 Optimus Prime
Let's assume Takara versions are out of my budget, what's the difference between MP-01 and MP-10? And can anyone post a good photo of the differences?
I'd like to get one of these eventually when the right deal comes along.

Re: Hasbro MP-10 Optimus Prime
I like the darker blue colour scheme. Guess it is all personal preference.
Glad I ordered my reissue Tak MP10

Roller is just blue? never knew that...light blue? the G2 mold has that light blue, not the G1.

Re: Hasbro MP-10 Optimus Prime
Roller comes in blue and grey (i believe the first release roller was blue) in the G1 line.
Also at Brr-icy, is the G1 Prime in your photo the metal inserts or stickers in the trailer? Sure looks like the inserts but I was certain that those came with a blue roller.
