Macross/Robotech fans?

Macross fan. Somehow never knew about Robotech except by name and when I was told what it was about by my friend, have zero interest in watching it.

My friend is hardcore into Macross and constantly bitches at Harmony Gold lol.

It does kinda suck that Harmony Gold is pretty much responsible for holding back anything else Macross related from hitting North America. However, I'm kinda excited about the prospect of getting a miniature VF-4 and Orguss Valkyrie according to what they've got planned. I missed the Yamato 1/60 release of the VF-4 last winter.

Lin Minmei. She was my first anime crush.

This is the 1/72 Valkyrie Bandai will be releasing. It's a model a la Gunpla so you have to build it, but compared to the ones made by Yamato, this is a good alternative.

The tabletop kickstarter was too tempting so I pledged $80. I hope the SDF-1 gets unlocked.

As to either Lisa or Minmei, I always preferred Lisa.

7 hours to go and the resin SDF-1 model has been unlocked in the kickstarter. I'm crossing my fingers that they hit 1.3m so the YF-4 is unlocked.

Ahhhh, Robotech! It was one of my first Japanese cartoons that I really got into. Watched the cartoons, played the dice and paper role-play game, the video games, built the models!! I would like to see more info on these figures. From what I've seen they are very small but have allot of detail!
