Just talked with The Associated Press.

I don't think I should talk about this too much right now, but I'l at least share this with you guys, because it's pretty cool.

The Associated Press is doing an article about Transformers fans and the upcomming movie, and because I won the TransGenerations trivia contest at TFcon, they tracked me down and asked if I would talk to them. So I spend aout 20 mins or so talking about Transformers, and hopefully some of it will make it into the article.

With any luck I won't come accross as an obsessive freak, since I know that articles like this can often twist the truth, but it was interesting experience and I did my best to properly represent us all. We'll see how it turns out. I'll keep you posted.

I'm think they found me on this message board, though I don't know that for sure. I was asked alot about TFCon and the Trivia contest. Maybe they saw something I wrote about that, or someone else recomended them to talk to me. I got an e-mail yesterday and I was asked if I could talk, so I sent them my phone number and was called today.

I gave Cybertron.ca and TransformersCon a good plug, so hopefully that part will see print. The article is apparently supposed to run sometime in the middle of next month, but we'll see.

I wasn't able to talk about that on the phone, but afterwards I followed up via e-mail and mentioned it, because it shows how being a part of the fandom gave me the chance to contribute and I thought that would be interesting for the article. The reporter I talked to said that sounded cool, so we'll see if any of that makes it in or not.
