Anticipated.... but not necessarily in a good way, ROTF Jetfire.

I'm getting Grimlock, don't get me wrong. He'll be glorious.

But I anticipate an SR-71 Blackbird Jetfire, animated and on screen combining with Prime to kick Fallen butt.

I'll add my name to the BTS Classics Trailer.

Also MP Grimlock and ROTF Leader Optimus.

Re: Most Anticipated Figure of 2009

The new movie Scouts, Depthcharge in particular. The other ones look cool, too, but other than Dirt Boss and Ransack they're all vehicles that we've seen before quite a few times, and Dirt Boss looks to have some problems (mostly due to the colour scheme and non-retracting forks in robot mode) while the only picture of Ransack we've seen is too blurry to make any kind of real determination as to its quality.

I'm still going to get all of 'em, though, since hey, they're Scouts, so it's not like they'll set me back a whole lot.

Can't say I'm excited about Masterpiece Grimlock. It's just a scaled-up version of G1 Grimlock with extra articulation and doohickys added, then sold for almost double the price of 20th Anniversary Prime. If they'd given him enough tail and neck articulation in beast mode so that he could be positioned in either his classic taildragger posture or a more scientifically-accurate stance I might think otherwise, but as he is he just seems like an unnecessary waste of money.

The new Leader Prime looks cool taken as a figure, but his resemblance to one of the characters in that awful movie I had to suffer through a year and a half ago puts a damper on my excitement for him. I might pick him up if he goes on special, then paint his truck mode red.

MP Grimlock
entire run of ROTF + Animated figures
Alternity Convoy/Megatron
Mickeymus Prime
trailer/armor for MP Magnus

But I got a feeling the most anticipated figure will be one we haven't heard about yet...
