Fansproject Crossfire 2 v.s. Protector Armor????
FP has 2 sets out as we all now ( http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/s...ch=fansproject) I am still not sure who to buy because I have neither of the needed figures to complete the set (Bruticus Max. or Rodimus/HotRod) of course because of that, prices are going to increase for these molds.
So Give me your opinions on which set to get in this situation.

Buy both, sit on them for 6 months and sell them for twice the price and make a tidy profit.

Re: Fansproject Crossfire 2 v.s. Protector Armor????
Bruticus Maximus can still be found in some areas in the Clearance section of Zellers if you're lucky. It's not hard to get him.
Hot Rod meanwhile, well there's that recent 3pack that BBTS also has - that's the cheapest way to get the mold in all likelyhood.
Keep in mind as well that the Bruticus sets have standalone figures that become part of the figure.
Either way though, both molds are straightforward to get these days. I really like Bruticus myself, but it depends on what you're looking for.

Re: Fansproject Crossfire 2 v.s. Protector Armor????
It's hard to say, because Crossfire 2 is out now, where Protector is just on preorder, so we won't have reviews for a while.
They'll both probably be great and highly sought after, if you can, get both.
If you can only get one, I'd probably say Bruticus, the add on sets really make the whole team better, where protector only benefits one figure.

Re: Fansproject Crossfire 2 v.s. Protector Armor????
There are tons of the Brut Max sets at the zellers in burlington.
You can order the Challenge at Cybertron 3 pack for $70 shipped from Kool Toyz, its cheaper than buying them separately..
Hot Rod and the best repaint of Cyclonus.
I was worried about the price of the Bruticus set but now having him on my shelf, playing with it he is totally worth the price of $110 for the whole set plus I only paid $19.99 each for the ROTF sets I have...and I bought a few sets of the Energon Brutemax sets. I use the Energon Barricade for Onslaught in my Upgrade set. I picked up the Challenge at Cybertron 3 pack for the Cyclonus and Hot Rod (going in the Protector armor)figs. As soon as I saw the Protector armor set up for pre order on BBTS today I ordered it and 2 sidekick target masters too. $102 for the set and target masters, I feel that this upcoming set will be more than worth it.
I say preorder the protector armor...it won't be out till christmas and you can save up for it. Buy the Bruticus upgrades when you get a chance...it is the most epic set ever made. you can always sell the Bruticus set or the Rodimus set later for more money ik you decide you dont want them. It won't be hard to find a home for them at all...I'd say less than 5 min after posting it you will have offers, lol.
