TFcon hotel is arranging Friday night food (and all weekend)

Folks from past years might remember me from the pizza party I used to hold on Friday nights.

This year, the con staff will be arranging Friday night munchies. I've had some expensive medical bills over the past year (check out my four-digit price tag glasses) making it hard for me to pay for food in advance. So the people who've been wondering, no, Phalanx and I are not involved with food this year.

We will, however, be hanging around and happy to say hi I don't know if I'll be wearing the traditional army jacket--it'll depend on how high the A/c is cranked up--but I hope to see you folks there!

Just to clarify, the TFcon staff will not be involved in selling any food. The hotel will have a food and drink station setup all weekend for the attendees of the convention.

If you are referring to the Action Figure Expo last fall then yes.

Hopefully the hotel will have economical snacking-type food available (i.e. nothing we need utensils to eat.).

What about cake?! Will there be cake?

What kind of food will the hotel be offering? Is it like $5 for half a tuna sandwich and $3 for a bottle of OJ? You know, typical hotel food. I didn't make it to AFX so I don't know. Give me an idea.

i remember wanting a coffee pretty bad but wasn't willing to pay whatever it is they wanted for it, for what thats worth...

at afx some folks told me some of the food was a bit stale but i didn't even see it =\ But hell a 5 min walk and you can get urself to a decent restaurant or if you can drive there's a good amount of places near that big mall (forgot the name) which is a 10-15min drive away i believe.

Too bad we won't have it again this year, but we all appreciate the big efforts you made for us.
