Need help identifying a "transformer"

Sorry about putting Transformer in quotations, I don't know if it's acutally a Transformer or a bootleg *You'll know why soon enough*

It looks like... well... the offspring of Beast Wars Optimus Prime and G1 Optimus Prime, primarily red iin color, with white and blue legs, and white wings. I've been able to figure out how to turn it into the robot form, but I can't even begin to guess what it's other forms are supposed to be. On the backside, ther's an ape-like "chest" plate that has a wheel that can be stored under it. It doesn't have any parts with it *the way it's set up, I THINK it's supposed to come with another head, and something looks like it clips into the arms*.

I got it at a local thrift store for a dollar *Ironically enough, because I thought it was a bootleg*, and if anything else, would like to find out if anyone knows where I might be able to pick up the missing pieces for it, if it's legit.

Re: Need help identifying a "transformer"

That's it exactly, well, without the ape-head or shields or missles. Thanks for the help identifying it, it looked a bit too... unreal to me for a transformer.

If it's not the wrong forum, are there any places that might stock the missing pieces for it, or should I post in the buy/sell thread for them?

Primal Prime is one of the best TF's you could own. I have a complete one and he's the center peice of my collection.

He has four modes, Ape, Robot, Tank, and Jet.

And he's not a bootleg, he's actually kinda rare and expensive. ($70-$80 Cnd I heard)

So in other words, he'll be hard to get the missing pieces for *joking*? I was just wondering, is the ape-head seperate, or is this a case of a piece snapping off of the toy?

that's a broken toy. you may get same toys like it and swap the part out and fix it. but it will be hard to find.

That's too bad about the missing parts bro, he's an awesome toy and like others have said a bit on the rare side though I wouldn't say it's uber-rare or anything but still pricey then your average Beasty.

Re: Need help identifying a "transformer"

the ape head can easily come off, it's not broken. If you ever find another head, you can easily replace it. If you got it from Value village, go back and check the other bags and see if the rest of the parts are in there. If you found it in a place like the salvation Army, or Amity, it's going to be much harder to find pieces.

Re: Need help identifying a "transformer"

Thanks for the assistance. I took a close look at the chest plate, and I can see where the ape-head would attach, and it isn't broken, so I'll keep my eyes out for a replacement piece *even if it's from Optimal Optimus, it should fit in correct? They are the same mold?* along with the blast plates and missles. There are a few stores around here that have "Loose parts" bins, so I'll check them later this week.
