Well if you still got the sticker set and a pair of scissors it's never too late to make changes :P

Thanks all for the kind words, seems I'm starting to revert back to basic repaints and touch ups as free time is just so slim now...hopefully I can start doing bigger and better things again soon

Nice job!!! He looks 100% better. Just out of curiosity, how small are these kits when complete? Legend or WST?

Re: Kabaya Ultra Magnus

Closer to legends in robot mode, but in vehicle mode he works well with WST, and can even carry some in his trailer. So really it's up to you.

Here's a comparison photo with G1 Ultra Magnus, HeeroToysMaker WST Ultra Magnus, and the 6' Titanium version

Cool! Thanks. I think I'm going to have to pick them up. Right after I recover from MP Rodimus

Good! Half the fun is getting to build it yourself! I can see why these Gun-dam kits the youngins keep talkin about are catching on.

I always stayed away from the candy kits because I thought they were more of a dollar store kind of quality but I should know better with them coming out of Japan!

Re: Kabaya Ultra Magnus

Meh...think of it as a deluxe Kinder surprise :P

The plastic quality is pretty good but I was previously warned on the Kinder like cheapness of the stickers and I can see how over time they may degrade (especially if fiddled with frequently)...hence why I got the extra one for painting should I really be disappointed with the stickers down the line, I'd have a nice alternative

I took some pics of the one I painted next to both Legends in robot mode and WST in vehicle mode. Check it.

I'm not sure about the red thighs. The white looks great in robot mode but certainly lacks the red in truck mode that you have successfully added.

Love the fists & red rockets, they greatly improve it.
The white waist & redder torso help too.

I agree, I'm not too fond of the red thighs either, and I'd have probably went with a slightly ligher blue as opposed to leaving those parts of it as-is.

But the paint job is very smooth, very nice overall.
