final days of transformers legends the game
logged in to legends today and it's now official....
starting june 25th...no more in app purchases but you can still use whatever you have stock piled.
new medals called shanix will be introduced...
complete cyberdex will be unlocked for all to view....
all character and weapons base size increased...
everyone receives a free devastator combiner card
payouts of all rewards increased(makes me think it'll just go back to the payout system when they first started it all a few years ago.
september 30th...the game shuts down.
I was just as let down when mobage recently shut down another game of theirs I played called"monster match".
it sucks for all those who literally dumped hundreds if not thousands into this game.
for myself,it's more time than money I've invested.
i'll miss the artwork, but not the mechanics of the game.
in the next few events,if you have trouble with bosses, friend me,user name "chansformers" and i'll do what I can.
I have over 5000 single cubes and just over 2ooo three pack recharges to pound out now,the result of playing smart and logging in loyally every day since they first started.

Re: final days of transformers legends the game
I enjoyed this game, loved the art, great rewards.
I also saved all, spent 0 cents.
The writing was on the wall with the repeat events and loss of tech support.
Pretty awesome how they're unlocking the art and giving us the "keys to the kingdom"
Too bad I never found you to friend, chans.

Re: final days of transformers legends the game
Hopefully this is not an omen of the future with Transformers Battle Tactics also by the same studio group and going down the same road with the constant event tasks and with character costs very unbalanced.

Re: final days of transformers legends the game
Gotta find out who to contact over there. I want to let them know that an artbook with all the character art from the game would be a wonderful idea.
All the art in that game was total eye candy.

Re: final days of transformers legends the game
The artbook idea has been pitched many times, even by DeNA to Hasbro. My friend, who was working at the Vancouver studio over here (which is in the process of shutting down!), asked Hasbro several times. BTW, Battle Tactics was being made at the vancouver studio. Now its being moved. My friend mentioned lots of stupidity about DeNA and Hasbro.

Re: final days of transformers legends the game
TeeHee-ly, the initial in-game announcement linked to a Dena support page with a Generic message of
"The game which brought you here is ending..."
Apparently this generic end page was used for the AOE game ending, too!

There was something that made me happy seeing that it was a Canadian studio working on Battle Tactics every time I opened the game.
I knew that the game development was being moved, but I didn't know that the whole Vancouver studio was being shut down. Definitely a bummer...

Wow, how depressing to read!
With so many artbooks out there, you'd think there would be room for something with the game's art in it.
Hasbro said yes to the Fall of Cybertron art book, but show no interest in this project. Sucks :/

People complained endlessly about this game.
Justified or not, there was a lot of negativity associated with this game and perhaps Hasbro wanted to distance themselves from it.
