Masterpiece Soundwave coming here?

Is Masterpiece Soundwave coming to store shelf here in Canada? Or should I be preordering this guy?

Yes, this has been confirmed that MP Soundwave will have a North American release with all its cassettes. only thing we don't know is price. My guess is $100.

Nothing about Red Alert though, but a while back Australia TRU is getting Acidstorm and maybe Canada http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...-storm-176775/

I would say, wait until it becomes on sale @ Toysrus.ca so you can purchase/preorder, if you do though, do it immediately because you might have a hard time finding it.

EDIT:

Lets look at MP-10 Optimus Prime prices, both versions come with the same accessories, but different paint apps.

Takara $270 to $300
Hasbro $100 to $120

Now MP-13 Soundwave: at this time, only Takara's version is available.

$185 to $200 + $120 (Frenzy/Rumble/Buzzsaw/Ravage) = $300 to $320

So both Prime and Soundwave are equally in the same price range.

From what I understand, he's coming here along with MP Acidstorm (odd choice) and he comes with all 5 of the original cassettes. The thing is, nobody has seen what his paint apps look like. Moreover if he's anything like MP Prime, he may be near impossible to find. If you really want him, it's probably just as well to pony up the extra $100 and get him now.

^ There's a pretty good community on these boards. You could probably get someone to help you out when Hasbro SW comes out. That's how I scored my MP TC last year.

I find it hard to believe he would sell for just $100 with all 5 tapes; the tapes themselves would easily sell for $10 each at retail, leaving only $50 for Soundwave. Look at Prime: was it a $50 figure with a $50 trailer? Will they axe some of the accessories, some of the paint apps, the die-cast, etc.? They only removed paint on the trailer for Prime, so anything is possible I guess.

It's gonna be scalper heaven. Most of them have probably already started setting up "off the back of the truck" pickups from their contacts.

Its just a damn shame that the scalpers will be tearin' in up at TRU. And I have this little feeling the stock won't be high so that doesn't help either.
