Re: What happened to TFW?
They're probably just fixing the problems right now.

Re: What happened to TFW?
I got onto TFW using IE (Tried it out) yesterday, it worked fine, but all the stickied and the normal threads were all together, no divider between them.

Re: What happened to TFW?
with all the coverage of nycc a rogue ad probably slipped in somewhere causing the google warnings.

Re: What happened to TFW?
I love how on TFW and even here all the mods say is "we know about it. There's nothing to be worried about." No one cares to actually explain what is happening...

Re: What happened to TFW?
Well in their defense, its probably because they don't know. Like, back when I was an integral part of a large website, we had shit like this happen ever so often (well, not virus warnings, but our share of technical issues), and it was rarely a simple matter of pressing an easy button & making things all good again.
Like, I still don't understand why they're choosing not to make an announcement or even pin anything (as anyone who's not an extreme regular will probably get scared off as a result), but whatever. I can see the humour in it from multiple angles, and that's good enough for me.

Re: What happened to TFW?
I wonder if TFCC hacked TFW in retaliation to all the bashing they did on them when they got hacked.

this, it's not like it was hidden in the first place, so making an official announcement that they were working on it, ran tests no viruses etc would have been in their best interests
