hmmmmm...well it does make for a thinner plane mode. I guess the only thing I would have done differently would keep the turret, find a way to make the barrel "telescope" inside to conceal it and put landing gear on the turret.

All in all though it's still a great piece, I think many collectors want a "classics/universe/whatever" Blitzwing to complete their trio Decepticon triple changers but I think Animated Blitzwing put a damper on that. But should we get one down the line I hope it turns out half as nice as this one did. Nice colour choices too, more reminiscent of his TV colours then the toys' dark purple.

I can understand that, myself (at least with other BW customs) I didn't really like the added bulk that the turret gives the jet mode.
I knew it was going to be something that people felt strongly about. It's a personal thing for each collector.
As for the colors, I used Guido Guidi's art work as my base mold http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Image:Blitzwingg1.jpg .
It just always seemed more Blitzwingy to me then the toys or the Yellow headed version we all know & love from G1.

I want one.... no... three of them! That is some amazing work. You pulled it off brilliantly.
