Re: The new TMNT figures

The new toon figures are good. The classics are garbage and a waste of plastic.

Why do you say that?

I have only see Mikey out of the package, but I think they are amazing, cept they are a bit loose.

I also made a custom Bo for my cartoon Don, as his looked terrilble.

I'll post pics later.

Re: The new TMNT figures

I have all 4 Retro figures and I think they are wicked! They are super poseable and are bang-on likenesses to the original cartoon and are close enough to the Movie characters that they appeal to both my senses. I love them. Worth every penny IMO even though I wish they were several pennies less in price.

I have 2 of the 4 new Turtles and plan on getting the other 2 soon since they are awesome too. Other than Krang I'll be passing on the rest of the line regardless of their quality. I really only want the Turtles.

Re: The new TMNT figures

I have two of the new turles, Raph and Donny, and really like them. I'll get the other two soon as I can afford/find them. Not sure if I'll get any of the other characters except maybe Shredder, the like of any joints on them beyond maybe hips just doesn't appeal to me.

I saw the classics and I really want them but at $22 a pop I need to wait for money to build up saldy.

Yeah that price tag is silly. I was in New York at the end of July and saw the 4 of them for $65. So pissed when I saw that TRU in Canada wanted 22 a piece.

I hate:
-The articulation
-The head sculpts
-The scale

Re: The new TMNT figures

The scale totally doesn't bother me because these 4 Classic Turtles that came in the mail an hour ago are now the entirety of my TMNT Collection.

Man, Playmates really stepped up their game for these guys. It's too bad all toys other than the Turtles in the TV line are crap, I would love a super-articulated Shredder.

Re: The new TMNT figures

Care to post some pics next to older TMNT figures or other common action figures, just to give us all an idea?
