So what happened with that Hasbro press-conference?

Does anyone know what happened with that press conference Hasbro was supposed to be holding on the 9th? We got a couple of news posts leading up to it, but I haven't seen anything about what was announced there.

Seeing as how they seemed set to announce whether we'd be getting yet another Bay movie in the next couple of years, I'd be interested in knowing what went on.

Re: So what happened with that Hasbro press-conference?

There was a complete video posted over on TFW2005, but it was a Hasbro investors day so very little TF news.

They mentioned they were in talks about a 4th transformers film. As someone in the industry I can tell you that they were "talking" long before the movie came out, it's an important franchise for both hasbro and the studio but very complicated because of licencing and profit sharing.

The second bit of info I remember was a short statement about "Fall of Cybertron" recieving a full line/wave of it's own around the release date of the second game. They didn't elaborate but after the event (can't remember where I read it) there was talk of a voyager prime, voyager grimlock and deluxe dinobots.

Yaaay, voyager Grimlock! A Voyager Shockwave would be most welcome, as well...

Yes, and such a shockwave would fit nicely on my classics shelf - after all, he's supposed to have remained on cybertron, so a cybertronian alt mode is appropriate.

Well, if they're still in "talks" about a fourth movie then that'll probably mean we're off the two-year schedule at least, which means Prime might actually get some breathing room rather than being booted off the shelves just as it was getting good like Animated did.
