Re: Avengers ASSEMBLE! The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Talk

Hmm...that little badge/logo looks like it has the SHIELD logo in the center with Iron Man, Captain America, and...I don't know who. Looks like a person with white hair and a yellow and black costume and a red cape. Sentry maybe? And then there's "Avengers Assemble" around that. Seems like something they'd put on toy packaging.

BTW, is it just me or did "The Baron" and "Viper" look alot like Destro and Baroness from GI Joe?

Who wants to bet that Black Widow is more then likely still with SHIELD, but as a spy within Hydra?

Depending on your continuity Black Widow is sometimes a double or even triple agent. In 616 (our normal Marvel universe), she went from bad to good to bad to good. In the Ultimates universe she went from bad to good to bad. She is one of those characters that in any version does not have a set superhero status.

Hurrah, references to Lukin and stuff!

I know I should stop being impressed by the fanwanks in this show - the nerd candy and name dropping, but I can't deny my inner geek titters at the thought of seeing Gorgon in an animated form.

Still, 15 episodes in and I really hope some of the designs are given some tweaks - seeing Cap, Black Panther, and Hawkeye all standing beside each other really shows that they're a bunch of tall dudes fit to form and it almost looks silly.

So the Avengers Academy is teasing that Janet might return to comics and Hank will go back to being Giant-Man. Part of me thinks this will help bring some of the fun of the show into the comics (always good) and part of me doesn't want to see the status quo with Hank Pym as the Wasp go away (because that was good, too). CONFLICTED. Obvious solution is to keep buying comics.

Still can't figure out who that character in the bottom left is supposed to be. I'm assuming that glowing thing is supposed to be Mjolnir, which would mean that's Thor. But to be honest, it looks more like Kraven. Maybe because they're all movie versions that's throwing me off.

BTW, where are the new Avengers episodes? It's been a few weeks. Maybe it's just a brief holiday hiatus.

Yay! New episode!

Though this episode is a little lighter on action than usual, it sets up a lot of stuff for the future.

The next episode is probably going to remedy that, with the Kang invasion at all.

Loved the Fantastic Four nod at the ...and you can tell their foreshadowing Ultron ultimately going evil too.

Cool Re: Avengers ASSEMBLE! The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Talk

Another action packed episode. Once again Cap is awesome, showing Tony who is the man. Love the Fantastic Four nod, again the writers are LOVE, during the Kang arc, the Fantastic Four were going to do an attack on Mole Man..... genius, just genius (Also like that it's not the new FF cartoon designs). Mild Ultron take over vibe again....... but we all know that one. I dunno why, but loved Hulk in this episode too, he is such an x-factor and power house when the chips are down.

Next episode, the storm is coming.

Glad to have you back Avengers!
