Re: Avengers ASSEMBLE! The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Talk

Hey dudes. Because of those show, I wrote up an article summing up most of the events of the last eight or nine years of Avengers comics, for anybody who likes the show, wants to get into the comics, but has trouble figuring out what's been happening with everybody dying and coming back to life and being a Skrull.

Another great episode. Lower on the action then the previous but more seeding the plans for a future story arc and brining in another member to the original team.

Also interesting how they went about Klaw's Fantastic Four debut with his Sound Form.

See ya next episode!

One problem I had with this week's episode(The wonderman episode)

All of this could've been avoided if Stark just went up and offered Simon himself, instead of making it look like he was trying to take over his company.

I mentioned this before with Ultra Primal, it's one of Tony's biggest problems, he is never direct about his true feelings or intentions with someone. Civil War (in the comics) was the biggest example of him messing up due to that. 3 months after Civil War, Marvel released a book called "What If: Civil War" in which the turning point was just before the famous "Captain America/Iron Man handshake double-cross". If Tony was just honest with Cap and told him deep down that he needed help and was humbled, all the pain and death (Not to mention Cap's own) would have never happened.

Cool Re: Avengers ASSEMBLE! The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Talk

So this week we got a 2 parter 1 hour special "Gamma World". Once again, amazing stuff.

Points to note:

- Hulk is found in Canada. If SHIELD is tracking him, then this is right after he fought Wolverine in the famous comic books Incredible Hulk #180-181. Talk about true to the comic continuity cause during that same time, the Avengers book were barking up this story line.

- Captain America when he goes Gamma he becoems a form of Hulk, this is a nod to the Ultimates comics in which the Hulk is really a offshoot of Banner trying to clone the Super Solider syrum.

- We get a shot of Ironman/Tony's heart. Unlike the movies in which everyone is fimilar with, the comic book Tony had a heart condition and this is a clear nod to it, no doubt it will be flesh out more.

- Leader at the end of the episode finally spots the design we are more fimilar with in the comic, as he only had his original design for a few early issues of Hulk.

- For those who have not noticed we also got another opening theme cast update. Here is the ones thus far I have compiled up to these episodes:

So no doubt as of next episode we will have Hulk back with Hawkeye maybe? I can't wait.

Re: Avengers ASSEMBLE! The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Talk

So, I finally got around to watching the show and I'm absolutely loving it, especially this version of the Hulk and his dry wit. It's a welcome change from the childlike "Hulk smash! Hulk bash!" version I'm use to seeing.

Is the Hulk suppose to be this intelligent and in control of his rage?

All I know about the Hulk is the old cartoon and his blinding rage and destruction until he turns back to Banner. I don't remember Hulk being able to control his emotions and going to meetings, on time (I'm currently on ep 8).

Hulk is a hardcore badassery.

Gamma World was by far the best episode so far.

Bring on the Masters of Evil!!!!!

They are staying true to the comics, by the time Avengers #1 debuted in September of 1963, the Hulk had gone through a lot of character development (he debuted a year and some change prior in May of 1962), but then he was more..... in control.
