Well, the pooched the opening. Clearly they're just trying to draw in casuals who are excited for the movie.

Nonetheless, pretty good way to kick off the second season.

Wow, what a way to start, so we have slightly new intro (still keeping with STAND AS ONE in it), the group shot was updated to have no Antman or Thor, and the action was BALLS TO THE WALL. Great episode, love that we got more Fantastic Four. The Skrulls and Kree are coming, and Ms. Marvel will be on board... oh boy oh boy oh boy!

So homage time this episode!

- Ironman sports his famous "Heroes Return" armor.

- Captain America's new suit is none other then a tip of the hat to his Ultimates uniform.

- We get to see Hawkeye/Clint's face in this episode, they stay true to the blond round cut

- Ironman mentions the Baxter Building being shot into space. This is a BIG nod to the original Fantastic Four comic #6 in which Doctor Doom did indeed shoot it into space.

- Hulk and Thing having it out all the time is also a big nod to the comics in which both Ben and Bruce have a long standing rivalry that finally concludes with the "New Fantastic Four" story line.

So Reed saying that Sue is ignoring her and seems distracted is all for good reason......

Woot! Show's back!!!

I don't like the narration in the intro, one of the things that gets me amped up is hearing the song. I understand why they're doing it to cross promote the upcoming movie, but doing it this late at season 2, it's kinda jarring. And sorta telling IMO, that they didn't think the movie was going to be a big deal to promote ahead of time or didn't have any faith in this show to promote the movie.

Whatever. Show is still awesome. Uh oh, skrulls! Uh oh, Cap has the hard drive!

Also who takes care of Stark Industries when Stark is away? Batman has Morgan Freeman, but who runs the day-to-day at SI?

And removing the armours at SI is just dumb. It doesn't make SI any safer, but the opposite. Whatever, it was just to setup the plot of this ep.

Episode 2 of Season 2.

Can this show EVER suck?

Another great episode. Seeds of "Civil War" are slowly being planted. We get Rhodey/War Machine, the debut of the Ironman Mark XVIII Modular armor from the 90s, Captain's projection shield and a lot of rounded Maria Hill action.

Yes! I'm loving how we're inching towards Civil War. I also love that they finally outright mentioned Spidey and the X-Men. I hope we eventually get to see them. Though I doubt it'll be a while until Spidey is in it just because he's got his own show at the moment. Which I wonder if Ultimate Spider-Man is in continuity with Avengers: EMH? Kinda like how all the 90's Marvel shows were more or less in continuity with each other and even occasionally had a crossover.

That was the obvious answer, but I hesitated because shes doesn't in this show (it appears to me she doesn't) and didn't in the movies until Stark promoted her in the second movie.

Also, I don't read the comics and didn't want to assume. Thanks for the link!
