I thought I'd be more interested in Astrotrain too. but he's got a pretty meh transformation. Alpha Trion has a decent transformation, just a little simple. The space ship is not so great looking, and a repaint might work well, but they did do a decent job of covering up the hair in that ship mode. So I changed my opinon after I watched the video reviews.

I'm being very selective. I'm just not digging the line. I've already had several QC issues on deluxes and I find the Voyagers could be better.
I dunno yet.

Considering Hardhead and a Clobber for a fun/simple Grimlock custom.

Loving TR so far, I only have hardhead and skullsmasher but I don't think I enjoyed a single CW figure as much as these two.

Re: What are your thoughts on Titans Return so far?
I like the line so far, but I don't love it. For the traditional headmasters, I wish they were all voyager scaled instead to be more in line as how they are on the Sunbow scale chart. Apart from scale though, they do look good in spite of their hollow sections, so I succumb to plastic crack addiction and have gotten them anyway, lol.
The rest of the non-traditional headmasters in the line like Scourge and Blurr have been hard not to love as their designs pay great homage to their original G1 designs.
The leader and voyager class offerings so far? Getting Takara's PMOP insteads of Hasbro's. Astrotrain is more appropriately sized than the previous deluxe version we got from the Classics line but the both alt modes are a little weak. Not a fan of Blaster as the base mode I find is kind of hollow and cheap looking, plus the bot mode has a chunky ass (yes I realize I'm probably in the minority here about passing on Blaster, but #sorrynotsorry). Will at least go in on Alpha Trion, but moreso for no real reason other than that this is the first official attempt at a full sized version of this character (not counting the little minicon version that came with Takara's LG-14 Ultra Magnus)
Don't really care for the little individual Titan Master heads. $8 seems overpriced for a headmaster-without-a-partner and an overrated, simplified weapon/vehicle gimmick.

Re: What are your thoughts on Titans Return so far?
I am torn. On one hand, we got some great chug characters. On the other hand, they just feel kind of lazy comparing to the great engineering on the original chug toys.

Titans Return is great, but Takara Legends makes everything a little better
