Conquest mode is my favorite along with Escalation. Its like a Death Match combined with strategic goals.

I'm with you on the order of liking here...The Scout really surprised me once I started using him.

And yeah, the Scientist is pretty weak, but once you level him up a bit he does have some worthwhile abilities to equip. Still number 4 though lol.

Well after 25 (I'm not near that yet btw) the manual says something about a "Prime Mode" that you accomplish. Its my understanding that once you achieve Prime Mode, you also need to level that out to 25.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that technically you need to get to "level 50" if you want to max everything out.


So I ended up playing online a good deal this weekend. I was a bit against the idea of double points as it felt like cheating. But I figured that I better get on board with the double XP because I like to go online to play already and SO MANY other people are doing it...I would be getting my ass handed to me if I were so far below the majority. Now I did not Level up huge, just a bit for each class so that I have a better chance of success playing on days like, today!

We should get a Conquest game together sometime soon. Hopefully get 4 members on each team - I think it would be great fun for all.


Autobot_Lancer, my game froze after our recent game started and I had to actually shut down my system - when I got it running again I could not join you so I went my own way. We'll have to try again sometime.


Has anyone actually named their custom characters yet? I'm curious to know some of the names us hardcores have used.

Ya galvatron i've had the same issue with my ps3 freezing on me and it started with this game.

as for my classes yes I've named them all.(note only the first name is used as there is not enough space)

scout: Tracks/ g2 breakdown (botcon 2010), Bumblejumper/Baricade

Scientist (even the autobots get named after decepticons: Thrust/cyclonus, Drige/Acidstorm, Ramjet/Thundercracker (kinda g2 colour)

Leader: Optimus prime/ soundbalster, Ironhide/soundwave (g2 kinda colour)

Solider: Warpath/galvatron, Roadbuster/onslaught

Scout: Protostorm
Scientist: SunShock
Leader: Bracket/Exodus Prime
Soldier: Stripmine

No problems with my PS# freezing (Knock on wood) though I do get booted out from time to time.

Ok just wanted to know if any one can give me a heads up on what I'm about to get into, So I think I'm on the last part of chapter 9 were we have to disable trypticon and he's laughing at me. so once I have to fight Trypticon is he pretty damn hard compared to omega? what are some key pointers.

trypticon is easy enough once you get the pattern down, for the last part, the first missiles from his back, hide on the left side under the 2nd level, mouth balls of fire behind the broken ramp, watch where his tail lights up, and boost away from where it's pointing as fast as you can,

well I did it I just beat the game, trypticon was a bit of a bitch at the first part when you need to blow up his shoulder cannons, but after 5 deaths I finally figured it out then beat him no problem, Omega was defintly harder.

I really hope there is a sequel to this game as this was pure epic win. ( yes I knwo the sequel is pretty much g1 tv series but lets put it into a game)

And those who said that the money to run the servers needs to come from somewhere

Eat it, because WFC uses peer-to-peer multiplayer. There is no server to run. Thats why the quality of multiplayer of this game generally sucks.

(PS. most multiplayer games do. Microsoft is charging us to run our own servers. Makes it a little more bitter to swallow huh?)
