I designed this back in 2009 before I started Renderform. This was my first full figure, so I had alot to learn. Alicon was actually the second design I did for them. Anyways, don't go buying it because of my involvement. I haven't seen the final toy, so I can't recommend it. I got to play with the testshot at TFCon last year, and was impressed how my design turned out. They had also made some improvements. But I wish they had released it by 2011 at the latest, as the design shows its age. A lot of toys designed after it have already been released, like Cyclops, Steelcore, most of Fansproject's Crossfire and Causality figures.
I feel the jet mode is the selling point for this, and the transformation could inspire future designs, considering it ends up looking like the F15 robot mode. Sucks about the head, I wish I was given the chance to fix it. But they seem to be happy with it.
Btw, little tidbit. Valkyrie was designed by one of the top 3P designers. I won't say who, but you'd all be surprised the amazing toys that guy has had released.
