After providing all info on the purchase and details requested, their initial reaction is to say they don't have any to replace this, asking me to accept a full refund or "a warehouse-selected Transformer, free of charge"

Meanwhile Pulse's own listing for BZ is still in pre-order status, with units allegedly shipping out on March 1st

I mean, can't I just wait until their stock of BZ becomes available? This response echoes WalMart's "we don't have a solution for you at this exact moment of this exact day, and I know you the customer wants an immediate resolution to this problem, so here are today's immediate choices; I am eager to close this ticket"

Saw that this morning, that's a new development

Worst case scenario, your proposal is sound

But I can't afford another titan right now - gonna pop in at the GS I bought it from, see if they can get one in for replacement NOW (which they couldn't do on Saturday, when I asked, then this listing was OOS)

Mine is missing both parts of the spear handle. Gamestop is gonna try and get a replacement for me. Emailed Hasbro as well.

Wow - surprise with number of issues (and each seem different) folks are encountering especially given such expensive and big figure - one would think Hasbro will up their QC quality at minimum getting parts right..!
Maybe I should check the few figures I got that’s still in box!

In case it might help, the local Gamestop (St-Georges, Qc) had one BZ in stock as of two days ago. Perhaps your store can ask for a transfer?
