If you're going to connect him to Mini-Cons, that would be the way to go.
If you want to connect him to larger figures, you'll need to harvest the opposite port from a larger figure.
On the plus side, if you harvest a port, then you can always use one of those double ended pegs to connect to Mini-Cons.
