Steampunk cowboy.
got the vest, got the overcoat, got some weapons, got a pocketwatch, nice looking vest and tie that actually go together and look pretty damned old, even have a hat that looks like a bowler hat. gonna paint me up some cheap metal flashlights with gold metallic paint from work, and then velcro them to my hat and belt. got a couple of cheap tool belts too. i still need some welding goggles, but then i do have a cool looking pair of blue-tint round lens glasses. most, if not all, came from value village and dollar stores.

That'll be the most ambitious piece of cardstock modelling i've ever done.
This is the most expensive costume i've had, to be honest, and its actually the first i've put thought into since i dressed up as a jedi in like grade 10 or something.
i plan on adding to it as years go by, so really this is an investment.
edit: it was either all that, or get a few elastic bands and a pair of plastic forks. elastic them to my hands and go as dollar store wolverine.
