Ok... this, I'm looking forward to.
Not many liked the movie Soundwave toy, or design...but I reeeally like the deluxe toy for him, and there were times when I would find myself fiddling with him for hours on end. Unfortunately there really isn't a really a good size comparison for him at the moment (should be getting one in Dark of the Moon) but voyager seems like a good size to settle at.
One thing (which may still be a WIP...I dunno) that I'd do though is fix up the left and right reflective panels...
here's what I'm talking about, some one did it to his custom a year ago. In his final movie design that's how they looked, kinda makes his "plane" mode a little nicer looking too.
