Transformer toy shops in Osaka/Kyoto Japan

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I will be travelling to Osaka and Kyoto next week and I was just wondering if any of you have been there before and if you guys have an idea of where good TF shops are located in that area.

Woah I'm actually stoked for you. Japan is on my bucket list with 3 things to bring home- Some badass toys, a Katana and a bamboo tattoo.

I have some collector friends on Instagram who are in/ been to Japan. I can put something out there and see what comes back if you want.

No problem dude, here are some comments so far-

If you're in Osaka try Nipponbashi area, there's a lot of Anime stores there. Mandarake has some decent used toys too.

Go to den den town or Minami. That's all you really need.

Kyoto has nothing for you except Yodobashi Camera.

I was in Japan in 2013. Den den town in Osaka is awesome! Good deals can be found, sometimes better than Akiba. Just be sure to go to Jungle - went there twice during my stay.

Oh, and spend some time in Nara for the sightseeings. If you need a break from the city, this place is perfect. Walking at 5-6am in the morning next to the temples and deers is just fantastic!
