Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
I appriciate Halle Berry accepting her award for Catwoman and acknowledging the craptacular that the film was.
However, while I loved ROTF I feel it does deserve to be nominated for some razzies, but not win. T4 for example I thought was a worse film.
One thing though, hate shia or megan all you want, I don't agree with the "worst on screen couple" part. Part of why I can stand Megan in the film, sexiness aside, is that I love her character and Sams.

Terminator Salvation wasn't THAT bad, just mind blowingly average

You'll find a more detailed reason why I didn't enjoy Avatar in its discussion thread. I do feel its very, very overrated.

oddly enough, I saw TF ROTF 3x because I didn't get it. After the third time, I gave up.
Spike was in TF heaven! LOL what a scene

I'll stand with you on this. I don't think Avatar was bad at all. It was a well crafted movie with an average story that was executed well. The story didn't break any new ground, and yes, I'll agree it's kinda pocahontas retold, but it was still good. IMHO. The difference between Avatar and ROTF is that Avatar actually had a comprehendable story.

Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
I didn't think the plot for ROTF was all that complex or twisted: stop the Fallen from harvesting the sun. Sam & crew went from point A to B to do so, with some Decepticons on the way.

Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
I thought Avatar was great, I guess if I saw Pocahontas or Dances with Wolves before seeing Avatar I would think it was a rehash material, but I didn't, so it felt fresh. Also it can't hurt that it's the highest grossing Worldwide movie @ 2Billion+ and soon to be highest grossing domestic film!

Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
I forgive Sci-Fi movies for technical holes, ala time travelling (Star Trek) or no sleeping mystical Wi-fi (Avatar), but I do not forgive Sci-fi movies that think the audience is stupid.

No it wasn't complex or twisted at all. It just didn't hold together in terms logic. A lot of it didn't make sense. To stop a rehash of the ROTF review firestorm that was in the review thread of the movie, I will refer everyone interested in arguing about how the movie did make sense to this link. http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/06/...ers_2_faqs.php
For my sanity, I'm not diving into that shite storm again. I just want to play with my toys.
