G1 for sure but both Beast Wars and the new Animated are neck and neck for second.

Re: Favourite Transformers show
G1... although I think this poll is somewhat unfair to the other series.

Beast Wars. Unrivaled, unstoppable. I love G1, I was raised by G1. But Beast Wars....... man.... we will NEVER get TFs this good EVER AGAIN.

The best part was the show, man. I mean, it was actually recognized by high level critics and complimented for the *then* groundbreaking animation. The characters were developed in unparalelled ways. Each Maximal, Predacon, or "other" was delved into so thoroughly that each became memorable, including the three-episode Tigerhawk. The toys were absolutely awesome as well, sporting the best articulation yet, with all their ball joints. The gimmicks were well done and the majority of the toys were just plain cool. I get why some of you would vote G1, it was your childhood. But this generation both saved the transformers franchise in North America and defined what it could be in the future. In short Beast Wars < everything else. Rant over.

Re: Favourite Transformers show
Agreed, I highly doubt Transformers would have the popularity that it did without the Beast Wars. I mean...it even seems that way with the shows...RiD was a bit of a transition where it seemed Hasbro wanted to bring back Transformers to Autobots vs Decepticons, but need the Predacons to initially sell it....then after that we got Armada, back to Autobots vs Decepticons, back to G1 style. All the hardcore G1 fans that hate BW, please, hate on, but give it some credit

People who don't like Beast Wars are either closeminded or DIDN'T SEE IT. Typical arguement I get is "Optimus Prime ain't a monkey!"... again they no doubt didn't WATCH it to make such a statement. I love cars, I love vehicle alt modes, my favorite characters of all time in TFs are mostly wheeled warriors. But I can't deny how the Emmy Award Winning series rules over all. (Yes that's right, Beast Wars has an Emmy under their belt, can't say that about ANYTHING TF, no matter how much it was GOOD in your mind).
Season 2 was the peak. Episodes like the Coming of the Fuzor 2-part (specially the ending scene of Part 1, wild west classic), Code of Honor, Transmutate...... I can go on and on, all deep episodes.... what is going to be the arguement? How Prime Target or Heavy Metal War is ON PAR with that....... open your eyes guys.

Re: Favourite Transformers show
Story wise, I would have to say Beast Wars... Although is is currently followed very closely by Animated. G1 still has a special place in my heart, but the show is not up to these two in quality IMO.
