Eheheheh excellent. I didn't have the advantage of being born into early g1 (or really late g1) either and I've never had a full set of any of the combiners. With this new line I'm really hoping for some g1 inspired goodness. Abominus, predaking and piranacon would all be welcome additions.

You just can't get him into any kind of weapon mode that looks cool or plausible

Re: PCC, your thoughts?

Backwind has grown to be my favorite of the PCC mini-cons so far. He has a very nice robot mode that makes him look bigger than what he is and the hooked hands he has actually let him hang from things like you would expect one to. I also think he makes the most convincing breastplate so far too, but that isn't saying a whole lot.
I think Hasbro got the names for Searchlight and Backwind backwards, though. Shouldn't the guy that turns into a, well, searchlight be named Searchlight while the captor is called Backwind? Other than that, My only real qualm with the mini-cons is how they are done in translucent plastic. Don't get me wrong I think it looks cool but a lot of molded detail is lost in these little guys. It took me awhile to notice that Backwind actually has a chain gun mounted on his right arm. He is one hardcore monkey!

Seriously, with some purple paint, Backwind would make a perfect Beastbox! The guy's an ape and interrogator and Backwind is ape-like who's alt mode is a hanging lamp - it's perfect!

Re: PCC, your thoughts?

I always like mini-con which can transform to weapon and more 2 modes.

Re: PCC, your thoughts?

How can people like these toys? Do you not remember hating Armada and Energon? LOL.

Hasbro has taken possibly the worst 2 TF series and combined them and people are eating it up.

Oh how they laugh at us.

you do not have to keep the minicon. I do not think PCC is anything like Energon toys. It is closer to classics imo
