I know that, but I assumed that it's a comic book store, and that the Beast Comics are only a few years old...they might have something.

Re: Toronto Hot Spots

yeah it would prolly be more fruitfull

and SS tends to rotate stock quickly i find in thier comics, as well.. the money's in the REst. it started as a comic shop, but the money's not there these days.

And Hey T3 isn't bad on thier prices, least not on the out of retail stuff. Last time me n mal were there, he scored a ANi BW fig for cheep, I picked up a few figs that were 2 yrs old i missed and tbh, I didn't sweat the price as the best i'd seen were at least 10 bucks more yankee for MOC.

Re: Toronto Hot Spots

Thanks for the heads up all. I dont know the geography very well, but it looks like I'm staying at the Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport... so I dont know if I'm close to anything. I'll have to grab a map when I get there!

Oh, you're out by the Airport. Everything you'd want to see is downtown. It's about 25 minutes by car.

Cheers!

Silver Snail doesn't really specialize in back-issues much anymore. Your better to hit up 1,000 Comix downtown for that.

As far as back issues are concerned in general, the internet is the best place to look. I know a comic book store manager pretty well and they don't even have back issue bins anymore, he says back issues especially older ones are near impossible to get rid of and alot of stores are getting away from it, the money is in the new comics and collectible card games.

Silver Snail still has the largest and most diverse of any collectible shop I've ever been to and I've been to TONS of them all over Canada, the US and Europe.

Cheers!

Re: Toronto Hot Spots

BW-wise, they do sell the Omnibus at Chapters...

(I got my copy at the WBB. Or the Indigo in the Eaton Centre. I forget which.)
