with reading all of your problems you had, the best thing would leave an honest review on google so to warn people about them.... it sounds like allot of people had or have problems with this store

I would just avoid his pre-orders like the plague.

I honestly wouldn't buy anything from him now, pre-order or not, knowing what we know in this thread. Even if regular in-stock items are purchased without a hitch, he doesn't deserve anyone's business given how much he dicks around his customers for petty reasons to cover for his ineptitude.

After following this thread I wonder why folks would give this guy their businesses, even for in stock items. If it were just a handful of sporadic cases I could understand sometimes things happened beyond anyone’s control but it sounded like this is the norm.

I am glad the one time I was tempted to put in a preorder or two I didn’t follow through.

This is the reason I left reviews on all the usual review sites. I wish I knew before getting screwed. Maybe I'll be able to help someone else avoid the hassle

I've been watching this shop for about 3 years now. When i was still in Toronto - there was already stories coming out of how poorly he was treating customers. I had almost gone down to his shop to check it out -but some instinct kicked in and told me to scrap the idea and I think I am better for it. Now out in BC - i know of at least 4 people who have purchased from NMC and none of them have gotten a professional response. They've all been ignored or berated for emailing in wanting to know where their pre-order products are.

Amazingly there are still those absolute muppets who will push this store to the forefront on facebook groups - casually pointing out that they never experienced any poor dealings and interactions with NMC. I feel that this alone makes them complicit with how he runs his business. Shady is shady - just because it doesn't happen to you directly, doesn't it mean it does not happen. I've tried super hard to not disparage NMC - but I think the communications that he puts out, really does show how underhanded he actually is.

I now end up telling people to read reviews before purchasing from companies. Pay with your credit card - you have better chargeback options. QUIT paying in full for pre-orders with companies that aren't tried and tested. There are better options people.

I can't seem to make the thumbnails bigger, but I assume that's his facebook post that he disabled comments on to "stay on topic"?

I think so. I saw his add on there and just had to post some links. He even said all the complaints on the BBB were ruled in his favour
