Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

I found a baggy with a G1 Metroplex gun in it for $2. I resisted the impulse to buy anything G1 and left it.

I did buy a perfectly good Halo 3 Xbox 360 wireless controller for $3.

Just came back from value village where for $5 I got a tuner mudflap (yuck!), AT-TE crossover without gun (Meh...) and a G1 Snarl.

Edit: Just compared G1 Snarl to my other g1 snarl...and this one, all the gold chrome type pieces are actually much closer to silver...

No g2 copyright stamps on either, the yellow gold one has a hasbro and takara 80 84 stamp on it, and the more silver one has only a takara 80 84 stamp on it. Other differences include a slight molding difference on the grey plastic on his robot mode foot, and a his "chest compartment" has a tab on it, while my other one is plain.

Anyone know the reason for the differences?

Bought this for $5 yesterday at "Talize" in Kitchener, which is pretty much exactly like a Value Village:




Missing the guns, radar dish, and missile. But otherwise complete in that both bots are intact and the Falcon is pretty much intact other than the missing dish. Electronics work fine too.

went to my local VV today and found a HA Bumblebee (he is missing his head, missiles, and Sam)and some sort of Wolverine/ X-men transformer that maybe Marvel put out awhile ago...anyway it transforms into a jet. Got them both for $1.89!!
