FE Starscream to Original Character

One of my own original characters is a female Seeker, related to Prime Starscream. She uses a different type of plane, the F-22 Raptor. I figured the way the FE Starscream is already slender and effeminate, it would make a good base for my own character.

I've already begun to mod the wings, making them bigger and the correct shape for the Raptor by cutting out bits of styrene. The head has had minor mods already too. If I can pull it off, I want to add clip on attachments to make the horizontal stabilizers the correct shape. Unfortunately without a lot of modding, I won't be able to give the vertical stabilizers the correct shape or even two of them.

This is some art done for me of my character who this build is attempting to represent:

The concept of making the wings larger mocked up with paper:

First wing extension with styrene, taped on to check everything:

Re: FE Starscream to Original Character

End of today's work.... we have fully fleshed out wings and horizontal stabilizers. The horizontal stabilizers are removable so she can still transform to robot mode.

Re: FE Starscream to Original Character

Two photos for today. I got into the "Oh error, better fix that" -- "Oh look another error" and before I knew it I was late getting dinner started.

And this last one is from the first coat of paint drying. I had put on a layer of Tamiya purple and hated it. Went to the hobby store and got Citadel Xereus Purple. So that pic is with Tamiya purple only:

Bah I reassembled her for the sake of seeing how it looked. I do not like how high the wings sit.

For now I am discouraged; however the alt-mode looks good.

Re: FE Starscream to Original Character

Well It is what it is. Here are photos:

Feet - for some reason I do quite like the work I did on her feet. And this photo doesn't really do it justice either:

Full length body shot:

Alt-mode aft-view:

Alt-mode ventral side:

Playing around shots:
Callista in alt mode; Springer in ground mode:

Same thing, different view:

Springer taking to the air to chase:

(I fell flat on my butt working on her face. I don't like it much at all. But I am working with what I have and I didn't want her face to look an exact copy of Starscream's).
