The Alumilite kit is really nice...I used it to make two 2-part molds and a 1-sided mold. I've replicated Headmaster Spike's left/right arms, a Revoltech backpack from a Robotech figure, and the one-sided mold was the fin for MP Skywarp.
I did not have any issues with bubbles in the mold...they turned out perfect and they didn't damage the part at all...and as you may know, the MP Skywarp fin even has silver/purple paint on it!
I did; however, have issues with bubbles in the resin. I tried a few different things like how I poured, tapping the table, etc. but I'm going to try more agressive 'debubbling' method for my next project. I did find the Alumilite resin cures a little quicker than I'd like--only 45 seconds or so before it's getting thick so I might try a different brand of resin.
IMHO, their silicon is top rate tho!
