Transformers you regret not buying

In the spirit of Shockwave 75's thread "Transformers you regret selling", I would like to pose the "Could have, would have, should have" scenario. Like that girl (or guy) you didn't ask out and have been wondering about it since, which Transformer has done the same to you?

I'll start by saying G1 Double Spy - Punch/ Counter Punch, G1 Megatron and Monsterbot Doublecross.

Re: Transformers you regret not buying

I had always wanted Omega Supreme.
I recently bought one (non-working motor) to at least have as a display. I may look to upgrade in the future.

Me too! Picked one up two Christmases ago, working, complete, looked like it had never been used, for $80!! The light doesn't blink, and that's the only small flaw.

I wish that when I stopped collecting (between Cybertron line and Prime) that I had collected certain MP figures, like MP-10. Glad I got back into it as the MP line started to heat up, and that I grabbed a Grimlock reissue last month.

Re: Transformers you regret not buying

TFCC Punch Counterpunch. Paid someone at TFW do buy it for me but I was ripped off. Well I got my money back but not the figure. ARGH!!!!

Back in the early 90's my friend went to a Miko sale and they had a bin, A FUCKING BIN, full of vintage G1. They were in bags, so no boxes, but complete and new and not KO's. They were $10 bucks each. Back then TF's were not a part of my life but rather a distant childhood memory so I did not buy it out.

There are some 3P things I missed out on and would like but I can do without those.

One year (late 80s), a store called "Toys for Less" popped up in my area in time for Christmas shopping... They basically had almost every G1 imaginable, MISB... Autobot cars (Wheeljack, Mirage, Sideswipe, etc.) were about $16 each. It closed shortly after the new year, and I spent the next 10 months saving and hoping it would pop up again in December. It never did...

Re: Transformers you regret not buying

Well, I gotta say Rumble.
I should have taken my chance when I had it, but you know, I was trying to control my temper.

I know, you're all gonna say I'm picking on the little guy, but the runt really has a mouth on him; and that whole 'Frenzy is Blue' thing doesn't help his case, either.

So if there's one Transformer who I regret not bullying it's...
