It's mostly from video game collector circles...CIB means just that, and it doesn't really mean much. Ebay is a little too slack on how people advertise this stuff. I always ask but when you've got guys taking photos of things that look amazing, advertise it as MIB, and you get it and it's just a cleaned up toy, it's disappointing. Not that it matters, as ebay protects the buyer up the ying yang and you can always return it via paypal if you don't get what you 'thought' you paid for. But when it says 'used' in the description but MIB elsewhere?...
That's why if I want 'perfection', I just go MISB.
