The Dark Knight figure sightings
Hi All,
Just entering this thread to report on Dark Knight figure sightings.
As far as I understand it there are 2 lines. One of the more "toy" line with strange Batmen and the other is the 6" scale which is more in line with the other DC Universe figures.
Does anyone know if this is correct and whether these have been sighted yet?
Thanks

Re: The Dark Knight figure sightings
I've seen the "toy line" deluxe fig's(the Batman w/ crazy weapons and such)@ TRU this past weekend here in Montreal, and I've seen the regular fig's as well.(the non-deluxe ones that have 1 Joker,1 Scarecrow and multiple BAtman's.) No sign yet of the 6" scale yet.

I saw some of the figures at Brentwood Sears @ $9.99 and Brentwood Zellers had the Hotwheels vehicles and play set.

Re: The Dark Knight figure sightings
The basic wave (5.5"... made for kids scultp) his hitting stores slowly, I saw some in quebec last week at sears and at l'imaginaire.
For the 6" Deluxe wave (actually its called MOVIE MASTERS), it is suppose to hit stores next week, may 30th (thats what www.mangaworld.ca said on their website) ... those were made for a more mature audience and they are sculpted by the4horsemen.

Re: The Dark Knight figure sightings
Richmond Centre Sears has the 1st wave of Dark Knight basic 5.5" figures. Scarecrow & Staff Strike (normal) Batman appears to be 1 per case.

Re: The Dark Knight figure sightings
We've talked about it in the Dark Knight thread that the release date in Canada is June 1st. I've seen a trickle of 5' figures as well at a couple of stores. The one's I've seen had horrible paint apps so I passed. I hope once these figures are massed released they look a little better.

Re: The Dark Knight figure sightings
The new wave was just released at my TRU,but there was no Joker in the ass't.Nor was there a Joker at Sears,or at a small local toy store that received them.I was told by an employee at a comic book shop I go too that Joker was removed from the waves because Wal-Mart and TRU felt he was too "violent".Any truth to this?I already picked him up at a toy store called "Toys on Fire" here in Montreal with no problem, they had a few actually, but I confess it is bizarre how he's not been in any of the waves I've seen in stores such as Sears and TRU. Anyone know anything about this?

Re: The Dark Knight figure sightings
I don't know if there is any truth to the 'Joker is too violent' as the American Wal-Marts and TRUs are selling Joker figs. Canadian stores have only pegged 1st case of wave 1 basic figures (5.5''); they do not include the Joker:
3x Staff Strike Batman
2x Elasto-cuffs Batman
3x Grip Gear Batman
3x Stealthwing
1x Scarecrow
Future case revisions and waves will include the Joker.
