DC Universe Classics Sightings

Hi Everyone,

I just started to pick up the DC Universe Classics line recently and wow is it ever a good line.

I've only ever seen the first wave once at a Walmart in Vancouver. Wondering if we could all share information on when the waves come out and when you all see it.

I think Wave2-3 is on shelves and there are several variants too.

Thanks

Re: DC Universe Classics Sightings

Wave 1 was on the shelves at Wal-Marts here in NS until June. Recently (July) I saw a toy department ordering sheet. Wave 2 and 3 were described as on order. So they should be out before christmas (/is hopeful), but they aren't out yet.

I saw Wave 1 at only 1 walmart a couple months ago, unfortunately at the time I had bought a case on ebay.

I'm just not impressed on how slow it's taking for this line to appear

Re: DC Universe Classics Sightings

I saw wave one ONCE at Walmart... and nothing since. I ended up preordering the other waves from Goldenagetoys. I'm still waiting for wave 2 and 3 to arrive.

I did snag a couple Lobo's as well from MattyCollector.com. AWESOME addition to the line.

Have the TRU exclusive two-packs come out in the US yet? Lightray and Orion with removable helmet are mighty tempting. I've also got a Lobo coming from a guy on Superhero hype who bought me a Lobo and Nemesis Prime.

Not that I know of... at least I did not hear about any sightings yet. The Adam Strange/Starfire 2 pack is still listed as coming coon on the Mattel website as well. It looks like a fall release, so maybe the same time frame for the retail 2 packs.

DCUC wave 3 have hit comic stores (via Diamond). They are more expensive than mass retail because Diamond is taking a cut as the middle man. I have seen the figs at several GTA comic stores priced at $18 to $25.

I've seen Black Manta sitting at my local comic shop for months now. Why overpay for something that (hypothetically) will be coming to retail.
