Maketoy just put up a webpage with a bunch of pics of their prototypes and a teaser for another Devy.

I think a lot of people have been thinking these were Fansproject's work but they aren't. These are the work of a new group and TFSource created a ton of confusion by having them on the same table as Fansproject stuff at Botcon.

Sounds like there's a new player in the game! I would think that maybe these are the guys behind the rumoured Botcon Stunticon Menasor set? The only piece they have displayed here that may not cause an IP headache with Hasbro is the G2 Prime Trailer, the Beachcomber looks pretty nice though and toy accurate. It'll be interesting how there stuff holds up and if they can actually play the game!

No, that is a different group of people in North America.

It is possible that Fansproject will be distributing these and producing them. From what I understand, some of their products are designed by another group, like the Superion upgrade set, they just manufacture and distribute.

Fansproject just helped the designer from Maketoy bring their prototypes to show at Botcon. From what I've been told, they (FP) are not involved with making or selling these.

I want to see bigger pics of that G2 Prime upgrade. Looks like he can combine with the trailer too! If it does everything the original does and more, count me in.
