Figma
Hi.
A few days ago, I started my collection of Figma figures - and my other purchase for the day was trying to open, damnit open, the box...
...but I have to wait until later today (my birthday) for that to happen!
Aside from Saber, there is a Figma Rin inbound - which, unlike the Revoltech version, will have the Jewelled Sword Zelretch included - as well as the Saber Lily we'll see as a limited edition figure when Fate/Unlimited Codes is released.
Oh, and there seem to be some other, non-Fate, Figma figures, too. (Lucky Star Figmas - woo!)
Anyone else have any of the Figma figures, and if so, what do you think of them?

Re: Figma
Love 'em. Can't wait till my next shipment comes.
Have: Lelouch, Saber, Fate, Nanoha
On the way: Konata (Winter Uniform), Miku Hatsune
Waiting/Want: Rin Kagamine, Kagami,
Hayate, Rin Tohsaka
My only complaint are the stands, they look great and are useful but they don't hold that well. The worst one for me is Nanoha, she barely stays on the stand. Lelouch also isn't that great, his hands feel too weak. One of the hands for mine broke off somehow, no way to fix it. Aside from that, I think these are pretty good. Posable + nicely sculpted miniPVCs!

Re: Figma
Do you get yours at Metrotown, or ordered online?
(When I was living in BC, Ages 3 and Up hadn't moved into Metrotown yet, so you had to go to a really out-of-the-way route from my place to get to them...)

Re: Figma
I don't think Metrotown has any, and the one store at Crystal Mall with them (next to Metro) is ridiculously overpriced. (Their Richmond store sells Konata for $49 I believe) I get all my stuff from HLJ instead. It only takes me under 2 weeks for anything to ship and it's much cheaper than anything local.
IMO right now Fate is the best one so far. The cape is cleverely designed and everything about her feels solid. She also has a big f'ing sword which is a plus but I prefer the Bardiche assault mode right now.
A few quick/lazy shots of my current poses. I've been changing Lelouch's pretty often...
Do you get yours online too or do you have some store near you that sells them for a decent price?

Re: Figma
Bought Saber down at Silver Snail - I'm waiting for them to get Tohsaka-sama for me, also.
I should be getting Saber Lily along with F/UC from Fan2Fan, though...

Re: Figma
Oh right, yeah I should preorder Saber Lily too.
How much did you get it for?

Re: Figma
Together with the game, around a hundred US.
She's not available separately, sadly...

Re: Figma
Yeah, I'm not really interested in buying fighting games but I might get one just this time...

Re: Figma
Well, I'm not even sure if I can play the game, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...
...thank goodness PSPs aren't region-locked for games - which will be handy when Fate/Tiger Colosseum Upper lands soon!
And speaking of which - Gaooooooooooo...
