How much is Vintage G1 Megatron Worth?

I ask this for for a few reasons. One I do not trust ebay as a price guide and secondly I'm think about selling my complete Vintage G1 Megatron. By complete it has all the accessories for the gun, plus Megatrons Gun. No Instructions, box or anything else.

Mine for example has most of its stickers but the stickers are worn. Very little Chrome Wear, which is on the very tip of the hammer/cock (not sure of the proper name). Beyond that he's in prity decent shape for a played with toy.

Its just one of those things that he is nice to have, but I think it for me that is, was more about completing him. Well just to say I had him complete. Its in a way the hunt that was more enjoyable then the destination.

Plus a promised my better half that I would contain my collection to my showcase. Well lets just say I currently do not have the money to buy a bigger showcase. lol

It will depend upon condition,is it an original or reissue, blue inner leg or red, Japanese or North American,86 movie issue,extent of chrome/sticker ware .. but if its complete in good shape,.. working condition.. some what tight joints you can look at around 80.00 to 100.00 it will go up depending on the above criteria

Issue: Original

Inner Leg: Red

Jap or NA: Takara 1974, 1983 ( With that said I'm certian it does not have the firing mechanism)

Chrome: Great, little wear on the "Cock"

Stickers: Overal Moderate to heavy Wear, Few Stickers are Missing, Inner Leg stickers in good to great condition.

Working Condition: Stands Ok, Joints are Not super super tight. Will Pose with little effort, but one arm is a little loose. Displays better in Gun Mode, just my opinion.

Accessories: Has everything, Scope, Silencer, Stock and Chromed Gun.

Overal: In played with condition.


So what do you think, in the $70-80 Range?

For prices of vintage transformers, a) compleness and b) condition are far and away the two most important factors.

That sounds like a fair price for a loose NA megs in that condition and you should be able to get that for it as long as nothings broken and all acc are present, decals are easy enough to come by and is not the deal breaker it once was.
