Re: Vote for the best Transformers toy of 2010
Wow, all great toys and very hard to choose from. However I had to go with MP Grimlock. Gotta give it to the king!

Re: Vote for the best Transformers toy of 2010
I actually don't own most of those toys.
Still don't have Animated Arcee, and my Animated Rodimus is sitting at cannabisprime's place. Don't have Bruticus, and don't plan to get Darkmount, HA Jazz nor Leader Starscream. MP Grimlock is a 2009 toy to me (Takara release). So that leaves me with Protector, Drift and WFC Prime.
Protector is cool, but was underwhelming to me at the last minute (too much of the trailer is the battle-station). WFC Prime has an insane transformation complexity for a Deluxe, but takes a bit of fiddling to get right and the vehicle mode is pretty abstract (didn't play WFC here). Drift has a great car mode, a great bot mode, two-handed-sword action, and... well... swords. Drift gets my vote.

Re: Vote for the best Transformers toy of 2010
I got to give it to the FP Xfire 02 sets.
I didn't want them until, I saw Vangelus's Review.
Damn glad I did.

Re: Vote for the best Transformers toy of 2010
I'd rather support licensed products rather than borderline KO companies. I would certainly vote for animated arcee and give hasbro and takara the needed pat in the back for making it. However I don't own it and would like to give a huge finger to toysrus and hasbro for again screwing over quebec. TFA rodimus is the least annoying rodimus but is another english package TRU exclusive.
MP Grimlock is figure from the past freedom gundam is right. So hard to pick between HA Jazz and Gen blurr/drift. In the end a more affordable MP is better than anything else out there.

Re: Vote for the best Transformers toy of 2010
Hopefully the MP that's coming out would come over quebec and I don't have to drive to get it. that new hasbro translator must do a better job than the other one.

Re: Vote for the best Transformers toy of 2010
Hard not to vote for Drift given all the attention he & Blurr have been getting. I still think Bludgeon would have rocked the poll though!

Re: Vote for the best Transformers toy of 2010
Gotta go with what I got, the Bruticus upgrades take a flop of a gestalt , and make it something that's worth while in-terms of articulation, aesthetics, and sheer awsome-ness.
That being said, MP Grimlock kick butt.

Animated Rodimus.
Beautiful sculpting and coloring. Excellent Transformation, and extensive poseability. This figure offers everything and it only cost $15.
