while im not so in love with some of the sets robot modes due to shoulder and limb placements or the smaller sets lack of knee joints...i have to say i friggin LOVE building these guys.

its also nice that you have the option to rearrange anything you do like on a particular set since its just building blocks. thats makes one of my major complaints almost a none issue right there.

last night i managed to "fill out" my optimus trailer to a full one using the left overs from my second optimus set and change up some things that really bothered me about optimus himself.

i hope series 2 comes bringing some new piece designs.

my least favorite so far has to be prowl...horrible chest and wtf is up with where they decided to put his shoulders at? his kreon is his only saving grace. honorable mention goes to mirage AND jazz for lack of articulation thanks to having no knees or hands. i still like them but it would be nice to be able to do something else with them rather then have them just stand there

I was gonna do another blog covering the three sets I've gotten since the last report, but I think I'm too lazy to take all the pictures, and this seems like a good place to spout off.

I like Kre-O. It's flawed, certainly, but if you accept the flaws and move forward, they're good toys. I've gotten Starscream, Megatron, and Mirage since my last review, and I really like all three, mostly in vehicle mode. They're all awesome, and offer something LEGO hasn't, really. Which I appreciate. The robot modes on the former are decent [Starscream better than I thought it'd be, especially after some tweaking, Megatron a bit worse that I'd hoped, even with some tweaking] but the hips are really loose, and they're hard to get to do anything other than stand there like a marionette.

But the vehicles.... Awesome. The jet is fabulous.

Check out my thinger for more opinions on other sets, and my patented method of making Prowl look good.

But now I'm stuck in that I wanted Sentinel Prime, but the large sets have sorta... been the weaker sets. But I like the firetruck, and I really want the Soundwave Kreon. Like, really.

Oh! Andsome advice: get yourself a LEGO brick separator. It'll change you life, man.

I don't mind the set's but I LOVE the Kreons themselves.I bought the Sentinel Prime set and Megatron set just to get my hands on the 'Cons within.Not into building stuff so the nephews got the Sentinel set but I've kept the Megatron set for a rainy day in case I decide to give him a try. (:

Picked up OP with trailer. Just had to have another Prime with trailer. Price = free Working at a comic shop rules. And I must say my fears are now confirmed, now that the first one is out of the way I may have to keep on collecting the rest.

well, i thought that since the kre-o's in MY area were placed in a new area close to the OTHER transformers, that there was going to be a sale on them or some kind or promotion. I GUESS THAT'S NOT THE CASE!!!

A sale would be nice, it would give cause to get the last 3 Kreons I'm missing. Ratchet, Prowl and Sideswipe.
